Overview
Men need brotherhood, clarity, and biblical encouragement. This January, we’re gathering the men of FBC Indianola and other Delta churches for a night of worship, teaching, and challenge—led by guest speaker DJ Horton, a pastor passionate about discipling men to lead well in their homes, churches, and communities.
DJ Horton
Pastor, Church at the Mill & Founder of Living Worthy Ministries
D.J. Horton is the Senior Pastor of Church at The Mill in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where he has served for over 20 years. During his tenure, the church has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing churches in North America. Raised in a pastor’s home in Alabama, D.J. came to faith in Christ at a young age and sensed a clear call to ministry during college as he grew in his understanding of God’s grace.
In addition to his local pastorate, D.J. is a frequent speaker at FCA camps, NCAA and NFL chapels, and pastors’ conferences. He holds a B.S. from Auburn University, where he played football, an M.Div. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a doctorate in preaching from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
D.J. and his wife, Laurel, have been married for over 25 years and have seven children. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors and time with family and friends.
