What to Expect
We get it. Going into a new place can be tough. Below, we have answered the most frequently asked questions from our visitors. If you can't find your answer, feel free to fill out the connect card below. We would be glad to answer any other questions that you may have.
When and where is your service?
Our worship service begins at 10:45am on Sunday morning. Our church meets at 202 Catchings Avenue in Indianola, MS.
What do I do when I get there?
Our parking lot is located on the north side of our building. When you approach our building from your parking spot, keep an eye out for helpful signs indicating what entrance to use.
How should I dress?
We have no expectations for attire, so it's really up to you. You'll find some of us dressed up, but most of us comfortable and casual.
Is childcare provided?
We have a safe, fun children's area with incredible volunteers to serve your children during our service. One of our greeters will guide you to the right place.
What is the service like?
Our worship services typically last a little over one hour, and consist of congregational singing led by our band and worship choir followed by a sermon by our Senior Pastor, Dr. Guy Burke. With several generations represented in our congregation, our music is diverse; we sing songs you might hear on the radio today, as well as great older songs that have stood the test of time. You'll hear a sermon from the Bible that is challenging and applicable to your life. If you don't have a Bible, that's ok! You are welcome to keep one of the Bibles under the chair in front of you as our gift to you.
Do I need to donate money if I visit?
As our guest, you will not be expected to give. Instead, we'd love for you to fill out a Connection Card (found in the pews on each aisle). If you do choose to give, thank you!
