At FBC Indianola, our students are valued as crucial members of our community and our church. God doesn't require us to wait until we are adults to be actively involved in His mission in the world--He consistently uses middle school and high school students to make a difference!

Weekly Gatherings

Wednesday

6:00pm - 7:00pm

Wednesday night is the main source of connection and teaching for our youth each week. Though we officially begin at 6 pm, students are encouraged to come as early as 5 pm to hangout, play games, or even study beforehand. Students grades 6-12 are encouraged to come and worship through song and bible study.

Sunday

9:45am - 10:30am

Sunday School is a great time to come and dive into the word before our worship service. Starting at 9:45 am, these small groups are great for intentional study and discussion of God’s word and how it applies specifically to teens.

Jack Vernon

Student Pastor

Hey, I’m Jack Vernon and I am the Youth Pastor here at First Baptist Indianola. My goal for our youth is an echo of the overall goal of our church, to cultivate authentic followers of Jesus Christ. We strive to preach the whole word of God and encourage strong spiritual habits. We meet regularly on Wednesday nights and every fourth Sunday for a youth hangout. We also have a guys and girls Sunday school on Sundays at 9:30am. Feel free to email with any questions! I'd be glad to discuss how we can plug your children into the students ministry.
